My friends and I love hosting cookouts in Prospect Park, but the permanent grills installed there can get quite crowded. With this lightweight bicycle-pulled trailer we can show up at any time, find a perfect grassy spot, and bring any supplies we need.
I was pleased with some of the details. For example, the drawbars mount easily and securely with a quick-release pin, and I think the fenders came out quite well, too.
Half the fun of this project was admittedly practicing welding and machining. Special thanks to Adam Apostolos and Robert Zakarian at Pratt who are two of the best teachers I’ve ever had, and had a lot of patience with the amount of time I was spending in the shop.
