At Basil Gang, I worked on developing technology which allows people to control cinema cameras in terms of the core elements of visual storytelling: composition, light, motion, and focus. When the camera understands the photographer and the scene, it is possible to simultaneously plan a shot to perfection while adapting to spontaneous changes.
This project is on the back-burner, but I am still excited about it and hope to return to it. You can see an example of the work below.
